The Role 

As Head of Marketing, you will support the demands of a fast-growing international business, working closely with the Marketing and Digital Director and wider marketing team placing performance marketing at the centre of future growth.

You will oversee a team of digital marketers and ultimately be responsible for the performance of paid digital marketing media campaigns within a fast-growing and highly profitable sector.

 Supported by the Head of Paid Media and Digital Marketing Manager and a team of Digital Marketing Specialists, this business-critical role will play a significant part in ensuring campaigns continue to deliver returns for clients whilst the businesses reputation in key target markets continues to build.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a best-in-class marketing strategy focused on the acquisition and retention of clients for the foreseeable future.
  • Oversee the media buying strategy, campaign creation, optimisation, and rigorous testing strategy for full-funnel, multi-platform digital marketing strategies aligned to business priorities and KPI targets.
  • Strategically influence paid search, programmatic, audio/video, paid social, paid influencers, sponsored content, & 3rd party publishers.
  • Work with product, technical, content, and analytics to build capabilities: full-funnel campaigns, multi-channel attribution, campaign automation, and data dashboards;
  • Key liaison for all paid media questions, issues, knowledge for clients.
  • Spearhead strategic thinking in the development of digital marketing and media buying plans to ensure they are delivering against stated client goals.
  • Experiment and discover which channels are most impactful and scalable.
  • Ensure each experiment builds and protects reputation, primarily in North America.
  • Analyse the impact of each initiative, and gain a deep understanding of audience and user behaviour.
  • Identify promising areas for expansion, from new geographies.
  • Build strong relationships with all clients.
  • Establish and share digital marketing best practices and benchmarks across the company and with clients.
  • Manage an appropriate budget, knowing when to spend, pause and re-allocate.
  • Manage a team of passionate marketeers supported by a Digital Marketing Manager whilst working closes with other teams i.e., sales, client services, product, design and dev.
  • Ability to engage with and maintain excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders including peers at senior level, teams within the company, and clients externally.

 

Requirements

  • A clearly passionate, commercially minded marketing and digital leader with proven experience of leading high-performance teams and delivering against expectation.
  • Exceptional understanding of digital marketing processes, including PPC, Social, SEO, and app-based marketing techniques.
  • Data-driven with a head for problem-solving and challenging existing processes.
  • Hands-on experience of running digital marketing media campaigns with strong platform knowledge including Google, Facebook, YouTube, Content Marketing.
  • Impact focused with the analytical skills and experience to assess initiatives.
  • Experience owning every stage of the marketing funnel across multiple channels.
  • Google Analytics, tag management, and campaign tracking experience.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and willing to take risks.
  • No Investor Relations experience is necessary, but you will be excited by the opportunity to shape the next era of the company’s vision and have a keen interest in the stock market and how to impact trading volume.
