The Company…

Our Client is a privately-owned collection of diverse and forward-thinking companies specialising in the housing sector. They are a provider of Technology, Engineering & Construction.  Its multi-disciplined group has grown organically over the past 50 years, and it employs over 250 people, specialising in various market sectors, including land acquisition, construction, architecture, consultancy, software development, mechanical and electrical installation, fire detection, sprinkler systems, and district heating.

The Requirements…

The role will involve working as a software developer in an agile Scrum team you will be;

  • To work primarily on greenfield projects developing solutions using the C#, Xamarin developing against a micro service architecture.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.

Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.

Your background and experience:

  • Mobile Development Skills (C#, Xamarin, UX design implementation)
  • At least 2 years’ commercial experience in a software development role
  • Ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary team, working with back end developers, UX designers, DBA etc
  • An understanding of object orientated programming.
  • Degree level qualification in a Computer Science related subject
  • Azure dev ops desirable
  • Experience using MS Teams desirable

  • Experience working with IOS

The Projects current and future

Our Client develop applications on multiple cloud, on-premises and mobile platforms for the social housing, rail and construction sectors. 

You will be working on projects for public sector within the IoT space.
