As part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join us in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the stability, security, and effectiveness of IT systems, networks, and servers.
  • Administrate and maintain Firewalls, Switches, Routers and WAP's
  • Actively engage in addressing IT Support tickets.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Assist with implantation of IT Projects.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system security.
  • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, performance issues, and errors.
  • Optimise system configurations for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.
  • Conduct user training sessions as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations when necessary.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
  • Manage inventory of hardware and software assets.

Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge of Windows Server & Client OS administration and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Networking - TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, VLANs, DNS/DHCP etc.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Experience of Cisco IOS & Linux (beneficial but not necessary).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
