As part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join us in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the stability, security, and effectiveness of IT systems, networks, and servers.
- Administrate and maintain Firewalls, Switches, Routers and WAP's
- Actively engage in addressing IT Support tickets.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with implantation of IT Projects.
- Monitor system performance and ensure system security.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, performance issues, and errors.
- Optimise system configurations for maximum efficiency.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Conduct user training sessions as needed.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations when necessary.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
- Manage inventory of hardware and software assets.
Requirements
- Technical Knowledge of Windows Server & Client OS administration and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365.
- Knowledge of Networking - TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, VLANs, DNS/DHCP etc.
- Experience with VMware.
- Experience of Cisco IOS & Linux (beneficial but not necessary).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
