Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be working with our prestigious drinks client in their need for a Weekend Engineering Technician.
You will be responsible to provide technical expertise, achieving maximum efficiency, manage budgets, looking at smoother maintenance processes and implement continuous improvement and development to our client's site.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times.
- Ensure maximum efficiency from production and engineering assets
- Planned, preventative and corrective actions are in place
- Monitor compliance
- Contractor management
- Building relationships with site personnel
- Adhere to compliance
- Accountable for maintenance spend reporting and management.
- Input and management of service contracts across the site (production equipment, generators, gardeners etc.)
- Identification, improvement and completion of planned maintenance on bottling lines and site facilities.
- Coach luxury technical operators in asset maintenance
- Being involved in improvement projects
Skills required:
- Time served mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experience in an FMCG environment
- Knowledge of maintaining ancillary plant and building services (chilling plant, steam generation, air systems etc)
- HNC/HND Degree qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering desirable
- Knowledge of bottling/packaging equipment desirable
- Green belt six sigma desirable
