WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are working with our prestigious manufacturing client who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator. To report to the Team Leader, assisting in warehouse activities complying with GMP/GDP, H&S standards.
You will be a team player who can contribute to the smooth operation of all warehouse functions. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assisting with specific warehouse activities
- Handling equipment with due care and diligence
- Adhering to strict compliance with Health & Safety work practices
- Processing of customer requests
- Taking samples of whisky from casks
- Conducting aged stock taking
- Conducting rigorous quality & quantity checks
- Ensuring casks are correctly labelled
- Reporting repairs accordingly
- Ensure checklists are worked
Skills Required:
- Experienced warehouse operator
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Good with numbers
- Forklift (beneficial)
- PC Work – working with excel spreadsheets
- Software – use of LIMS labelling system (beneficial)
