The role:
The successful UI Developer will be taking ownership of design, development, enhancements and maintenance of a range of products, focusing on exceptional experience for users.
This is a key role in the technology team, working closely with product and development teams to embed UX and UI best practices.
Your responsibilities:
- UX and UI advocate and user champion
- The UI-UX Developer add value to the product vision, through translating concepts into mock-ups, UX prototypes and lead to intuitive user experiences
- Evaluate and improve UX for products
- You will create a UK vision and strategy for the future
- Design, develop and test code
- Take a user centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
- Identify design problems and devise innovative solutions
- Deliver designs that are optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to existing and new functions and features
Your background:
- You understand and have experience working as a Full stack developer or Front End Developer with a passion for UI and UX
- You have a passion for technology, can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends, and thrive by sharing knowledge
- A strong developer for this role is confident, flexible, and demonstrates a strong ability to communicate across functions.
- Excellent JavaScript (Angular)
- Track record of developing web-based UI
- In depth understanding of UX
- OO Design skills
- Java or C#
- Agile/Scrum
- Extreme programming techniques
- CI/CD
