Nine Twenty are delighted to be assisting in the recruitment of a Business Analyst for their client based in Lanarkshire.

The successful candidate will be joining a scaling company, who continue to grow at pace, both organically and through acquisition. They have grown by over 40% in the last 3 years and they are actively investing in product development.

The Role:

As the Business Analyst you will work in the post-implementation phase of the client’s products.

You will require an in-depth understanding of the business and its customers’ needs as well as the ability to translate these to the engineering department.

The Business Analyst will have a sound understanding of our clients requirements and will have the ability to assess and understand their different viewpoints. You will be the negotiator between the client and development team, in order to successfully deliver.

Your background:

The successful Business Analyst will have the following experience:

  • Experience working in a client-facing role, operating as a Business Analyst
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and synthesizing and prioritising requirements
  • Understands the value to the customer
  • Experience of gathering requirements by managing the relationships with the clients
  • Providing guidance on what to build and when to release
  • Help the SCRUM team to plan and improve their ways of working
  • Ensuring the work done by the agile team aligns with business strategy
  • Technical understanding
  • Business analysis experience of Information Technology (IT) projects through the end-to-end Project Lifecycle.
  • Experience of working in a Software Development environment 
  • Understanding of SCRUM and Agile Development methodologies
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing ideas with other team members

Other skills and knowledge which are important are:

  • Be able to drive to client sites during the post-implementation phase – candidates must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle
