Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Software Support Engineer for their global technology-based company on the outskirts of Glasgow.
The successful candidate will be a key Global team member and play an important part in troubleshooting the organisations existing web applications.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Support engineer to have the freedom to be hands on and solve complex problems
You will have a background in IT Support, ideally supporting enterprise systems.
You will work closely with the 2nd line support team, working with tickets and identifying what is wrong with the software.
You will be a subject matter expert of the software and be able to process the ticket to the correct software development team, in order for issue to be resolved.
Your background:

- You will have sound knowledge of the software development process and understand the flow of programming
Skills and experience:
- A good understanding of how web systems work
- Hands on development experience (Any languages)
- Ability to understand and solve complex problems and concepts
- Debugging experience
- Experience of resolving technical issues
- Experience of unit testing and TDD
- Experience of continuous integration systems
- Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies
