Nine Twenty recruitment have a fantastic new requirement for a Software Engineer to join a leading sports digital marketing agency, who operate across the UK and Brazil. Founded in 2014, this organisation now employs a number of passionate employees across two continents, with revenues impressively growing year-on-year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a team with a solid vision & not only help shape existing inhouse products, but help create fantastic new products.
Experience required for the role:
- 3+ years experience as a Java developer, delivering high quality software in a commercial environment
- Familiarity with building microservices in Spring Boot, including APIs
- Ability to support projects with knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and SOLID principles
- Experience of ETL processing
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and general data transfer approaches
- Experience of working with high volume, low latency systems
- Experience with different database technologies e.g. SQL/NoSQL
- Strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for learning new languages and technology
- Ensuring everything you build is tested, production ready and observable
- Be able to bringing your own views on web estate architecture, its stack and tools, processes, common issues
- Comfortable working with both frontend and backend languages, with backend taking priority
