SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER – CLOUD & DIGITAL PROGRAMMES
London | Hybrid – approximately two days per week onsite
Initial six-month contract
£400–£600 per day
We are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to support several high-profile, enterprise-scale cloud and digital transformation programmes.
The role will initially focus on the global rollout of a new AWS-based digital licensing platform for a major international organisation. You will also provide service delivery oversight across other complex cloud and Kubernetes engagements.
Sitting at the centre of customer, PMO and technical delivery activity, you will ensure stakeholders remain aligned, communications are consistent and delivery risks are identified and addressed early. You will work with a large, internationally distributed team, including significant offshore delivery capability.
Key responsibilities:
- Own service delivery governance across multiple complex programmes
- Act as the link between customers, PMO and technical delivery teams
- Maintain clear, consistent internal and customer communications
- Identify, manage and escalate delivery risks, issues and dependencies
- Lead service reviews, governance meetings and delivery reporting
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships and customer expectations
- Coordinate UK-based and offshore technical teams
- Support operational readiness and project-to-service transition
- Ensure actions have clear owners and are driven through to resolution
We’re looking for:
- Proven Service Delivery Management experience in enterprise technology environments
- Experience with complex cloud, application or managed-service programmes
- A good understanding of AWS and familiarity with Kubernetes
- Strong service governance, reporting and risk-management skills
- Experience working closely with PMO and project delivery teams
- Confidence communicating with senior customers and technical stakeholders
- Experience coordinating globally distributed or offshore teams
- The ability to manage several concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving environment
This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading delivery role across large-scale international programmes, with strong potential for extension beyond the initial six months.
