Our client is the UK-market leader providing cutting-edge SaaS to scientists in the Biotech industry and is now on a mission to replicate its success on an international level working with scientists in the private sector to find the cures to cancer, brain degeneration or find antibiotics which bacteria aren’t resistant to.
The Role and Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Developer will be involved in all aspects across the software development life cycle as well as the full life cycle of a product; from creating products from scratch, designing and developing products, to testing, deployment and support.
You will be creating innovative products which will link into the in-house web-based procurement platform and provide better quality of service for their worldwide client base.
The role will give you the platform and power to bring new ideas to the table, to provide better concepts and ultimately deliver products which enhance the company’s technology portfolio.

Core Skills Required:
To apply for this role you must have a high-level of experience and capability with the following:
- Current and “hands on” ASP.Net Web Forms experience, ideally 2+ years, ideally in VB.Net
- MS SQL Server skills including T-SQL
- Experience of front and back end commercial web development in a team, ideally eCommerce or B2B environment
- Knowledge of OO development and use of UML
Desirable Skills that will help your application:
- Knowledge of modern CSS and JavaScript libraries
- GIT (or equivalent source control)
- REST services
- System Admin Skills
- Understanding of Release Management
