Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with a Managed Service Provider, who specialise in Infrastructure solutions throughout Europe in the recruitment of a Senior Network Engineer.
Their Transformation-as-a-Service approach helps them focus on their customers technical needs.
They provide a number of services for their customers:
- VMware-based infrastructure
- Backup & DR, to public cloud management with AWS, Azure, and Google
- PaaS
- DevOps
- Container solutions
You will be joining the growing technical team in the central belt, delivering on prem and cloud network infrastructure solutions.
The role:
- You will be assisting in the integrating and connecting data centres and cloud infrastructure.
- Working closely with the wider technical team you will focus on the design and rollout of a core network refresh.
- Management of data centre environments.
- On-prem to cloud – deploy customers in new environments.
- Dealing with customers on a daily basis to provide on going support, through major incidents and providing solutions.
Skills required:
- Deep understanding of datacentre connectivity; OSPF, BGP and DDoS Mitigation.
- Routing and Switching
- Firewalls, VPS, network security and traffic management
- AWS or Azure cloud network services
- Public cloud connectivity
- Network backup tools
- Network monitoring solutions
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience of creating designs for customers
