Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for their IT service client based in East Kilbride.
The successful candidate will have experience within an Infrastructure Engineer role, providing 2nd and 3rd line support within an IT service environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly technical environment and take on a lead position within the business.
You will have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service to clients and experience of supporting other technical staff within your team.
The Role
To be technical point of escalation for 1st and 2nd line service desk roles by defining and establishing schedules, setting priorities, providing support/direction and dealing with all technical issues.
Your Technical background:
- Experience in the following core technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 / 2012 o Microsoft Active Directory
- VMware
- Microsoft SharePoint 365
- Microsoft RDS
- Microsoft Office 365 Exchange and on Premise
- Networking (TCP/IP, VPN’s, Radius & VLAN troubleshooting)
- Backup technologies for physical and virtual environments
- Good Understanding of Microsoft Replication
- Good understanding on Level 3 Network Firewalls / Routers
- Good Understanding of VOIP Communications
- Good Understanding of Cloud platforms, either Azure or AWS
