Location: Field-based with 1–2 days in the Irvine office
Package: Competitive salary + Hybrid company car

Are you ready to take the lead in a growing and ambitious manufacturing business at the forefront of green building solutions?

We’re working with a leading manufacturer of timber frame and roof truss systems who have recently invested in a state-of-the-art facility in Irvine, complete with advanced robotic technology. With a strong order book and a well-established customer base across Scotland and the North of England, they’re now looking to appoint a Sales Manager to manage and grow their regional presence.

About the Role

This is a standalone field sales position reporting to the Head of Timber Frame. You’ll be responsible for nurturing key accounts, developing strong relationships with housebuilders and construction partners, and identifying new business opportunities across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a strong, established customer base (70% account management / 30% new business)

  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service and ensure repeat business

  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders up to director level

  • Plan and manage your own journey and sales pipeline across the region

  • Work closely with internal teams and the Head of Timber Frame to align on goals and delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in timber frame or modular build sales is essential

  • Experience selling roof trusses is highly desirable

  • A self-motivated, dependable individual who thrives in a standalone role

  • Strong communicator with a consultative sales approach

  • Comfortable working independently but collaborative by nature

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Based within Scotland or North England and able to travel regionally

Why Join?

  • Be part of a transformative period in Scottish housing and construction

  • Work in a business that’s investing heavily in innovation and sustainability

  • New facility officially opened by the First Minister – a clear sign of its future focus

  • Support a mission rooted in Scottish timber for Scottish homes

  • Join a close-knit team where your voice matters and your impact is visible
