Nine Twenty Engineering are looking for a Robot Welder for a leading successful manufacturing company based in Ayrshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in the company’s manufacturing department and work on a variety of machines and develop your technical skills.

Minimum 1 year’s experience and capable of the following:
Developing programmes for new parts and amending existing programmes as required to complete jobs in fastest time and to specification
Calibration of robot each shift
Completing minor repairs
Selecting correct wire for the job
Setting machine amps, volts and wire speeds for laying appropriate weld size
Welding different thickness of Carbon steel to standard times and drawing requirements
Having an understanding of different material grades and their problems
Maintaining equipment to PM Programme
Setting up parts of welding and use of fixtures
Familiar with types of weld defects and their causes
Inspecting and being responsible for own work (so that all defects are highlighted and corrected)
Reading drawings and interpreting weld symbols (Defect level)
Keeping records as required, completing paperwork and using Vantage
Dressing, de spattering welds and cleaning where required
Safe working practices (Zero accident record)
Working to company policies, standards and rules.
