QC Inspectors - Raw Materials/Finished Goods

Nine Twenty are proud to be partnering with our Inverclyde based Medical Device Manufacturing client in their need for QC Inspectors to join their team permanently.
Reporting directly into the Quality Manager you will ensure that raw materials and finished goods comply with specifications & internal systems and verified and maintained.
Responsibilities:
- QC process implementation and maintenance
- Goods-in inspection of raw materials
- Testing and verification of assemblies and finished goods
- Accurate recording of inspection and test results
- Review production records and maintain accurate files to aid traceability
- Assist in internal audits process
- Assist in document creation and maintenance
- Assist in NCR process as required
- Assist in NPI process as required
- Complete any quality related tasks such as external audit preparation as and when required
- Ensure that the highest health and safety standards are adhered to whilst performing duties
Skills required:
- Previous experience within a Quality role
- A self starter who can use their own initiative
- Observant with a keen eye for detail
- I.T. literate and proficient with Email, Microsoft Word & Excel
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates a logical, methodical approach to work
- Possess the ability to assess the risks associated with tasks and equipment and can work in a safe manner
