Nine Twenty are continually working with our Manufacturing Design Client for a QHSE Engineer to join their team permanently. Our client are a passionate & ambitious business who have grown rapidly over the past few years and are going through the next phase of their growth with some exciting plans in place. You will be a high impact individual who is capable & comfortable working within a fast paced & growing business, adaptable to change, ensuring ongoing quality excellence and act as the internal voice to the customer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create an NCR system and utilise this to drive CAPA for both customer and internal issues
  • Grow, control and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS) through developin internal audit schedule
  • Achieve ISO9001 FY21/22
  • Achieve ISO14001 FY22/23
  • Develop framework to capture our carbon footprint and help us achieve carbon zero
  • Roll out our good practice to our partners, both supply chain and installation
  • Support systemic approach and systemic growth to sustain, enforce and monitor “good” and ensure right first time
  • Product technical expert
  • Learn and fully understand all aspects of our products, processes and procedures - Know exactly what “good” is
  • Provide support and work closely with all internal departments to maintain and improve product quality
  • Advise at ECN and Deviation meetings any impact and consideration from a QHSE perspective

Skills required:

  • Excellent people & influencing skills
  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills 
  • Excellent organisational & prioritisation skills 
  • Previous QMS & ISO experience 
  • Knowledge of lean six sigma would be an advantage 
  • Understanding manufacturing & assembly processes 
  • Understanding, cost, financial & risk impacts - provide risk analysis reports 
  • Commercial & financial awareness with good analytical & negotiation skills
