Nine Twenty are delighted to be working with our innovative Manufacturing client in their need for a Product Technical Writer to join their team permanently.
Reporting directly to Head of Engineering you will have the autonomy to work within a busy & varied role and you will be responsible for creating, managing and implementing product technical information and processes to assist in the integration of new products into the wider business. The role will also entail working with internal teams and external partners to maintain technical information related to the existing product portfolio throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Using your understanding of internal processes you will be responsible for the creation of Technical Documentation and management/writing of customer facing documentation & internal documentation – SOP’s/manuals/product assembly documentation/instruction manuals
- You will have experience in CAD/Graphic Design/Adobe Suite for the creation of Technical Documents
- You will understand processes & Mechanisms of building processes & the thought process behind that
- You will be involved in product development and delivery of complete product to market – working alongside engineers on Projects until delivery
- You will collaborate with stakeholders internally such as designers & supply chain
- You will arrange quotations and completion of Bills of Materials (BOM’s)
Skills required:
- Knowledge in product development & delivery of complete product to market
- Experience in product data & lifecycle management
- Strong data management experience
- Experienced of working with customer facing & internal documentation would be ideal - such as SOP's
