About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Presales Consultant with 2–3 years of experience to join a specialist AI consultancy at the forefront of the UK's AI transformation conversation. You will play a key role in supporting the growth of the business by helping prospective clients understand how AI and Microsoft technologies can address their business challenges and create tangible value.
Working closely with senior consultants and commercial stakeholders, you will support opportunity qualification, client discovery, proposal development, and solution positioning. This role offers significant exposure to enterprise clients and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop a career within technology consulting, presales, and AI transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, objectives, and digital transformation priorities.
- Support discovery workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and identify opportunities.
- Develop tailored proposals, presentations, solution overviews, and business cases that clearly communicate value to clients.
- Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to shape solution approaches aligned with client needs.
- Support responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tender opportunities.
- Create compelling solution narratives that demonstrate how AI and Microsoft technologies can solve real business problems.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to pipeline management and opportunity tracking.
- Stay up to date with developments across AI, Microsoft technologies, and wider market trends to support client conversations.
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years' experience as a Presales Consultant within a technology, software, SaaS, consulting, or digital transformation environment.
- Experience supporting business development activities, proposal creation, solution positioning, and client engagement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to understand business challenges and articulate how technology solutions can deliver measurable outcomes.
- Experience contributing to client workshops, proposals, presentations, and bid responses.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and a strong interest in emerging technologies, AI, and innovation.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365.
- Experience working within a Microsoft Partner, consultancy, SaaS, or technology services environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and opportunity management processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise or public sector clients.
- Relevant Microsoft or business-focused certifications.
- Degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A second language would be advantageous.
