Project Manager – Microsoft Business Applications & Power Platform Location: Glasgow / Hybrid / Remote |
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing Microsoft Partner delivering enterprise-grade Business Applications and Power Platform solutions to clients across financial services and beyond. With a strong pipeline and continued growth, they're expanding their delivery function and looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of complex, multi-workstream programmes.
About the Role
This is not traditional project management. You'll be operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where Microsoft technology is at the heart of every engagement — from Power Platform builds and Dynamics 365 implementations through to broader Business Applications programmes. Ambiguity is common, stakeholders are senior, and the pace is high. If you thrive in that environment, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent Microsoft Business Applications and Power Platform projects from initiation through to delivery and handover.
- Coordinate stakeholders across client organisations and internal delivery teams, ensuring alignment at every stage.
- Proactively identify and remove blockers, managing dependencies across workstreams to keep programmes on track.
- Own RAID management and ensure effective governance, reporting, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project performance, budgets, and delivery metrics, providing clear and timely updates to senior stakeholders.
- Support the smooth transition of solutions from proof of concept through to production, ensuring adoption and value realisation.
Skills & Experience
- Proven project management experience delivering Microsoft Business Applications or Power Platform programmes.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement skills, with confidence operating at senior and executive level.
- Demonstrable ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and shifting delivery landscapes.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and project financials.
What We're Looking For
- A calm, organised, and proactive operator who takes ownership and drives delivery without needing to be chased.
- Someone who can build strong relationships across both technical delivery teams and non-technical client stakeholders.
- A problem-solver who identifies risks early and brings solutions, not just issues.
- A collaborative team player who understands that great delivery is as much about people as it is about process.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working within or alongside a Microsoft Partner organisation.
- Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
