PHP Software Engineer (PHP) - Glasgow- 40k
Nine Twenty are looking for an experienced PHP developer to join a young and ambitious organization based in Glasgow. To be suitable for this role, you must be an enthusiastic developer who displays a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work. You must be comfortable discussing your ideas to both technical peers and non-technical users. If you have experience gained from working in a software house or technology business, you would be a more natural fit to this organization.

Salary: 40k + Benefits
Duties include:
- To build efficient and reusable PHP modules.
- Develop products and features
- Manage the Support/maintenance of existing products.
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of PHP frameworks e.g codeigniter, laravel, symfony
- Object-Oriented principals and knowledge of common design patterns such as MVC.
- MySQL development, configuration and optimisation.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end best practices.
- Object oriented design experience.
- Understanding with one or more scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Ruby, Perl, Python).
- Experience with source control, e.g. SVN/GIT.
