As Network Engineer you will work closely with the CTO and support teams to enhance, manage and maintain the existing network covering development, staging and live environments. You will be responsible for supporting existing core Machine To Machine network, customer VPN implementations, core network project implementation and configuration.
This is a very challenging role which will give the successful candidate exposure to all levels of our business and will include the opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies.
You will have previous experience in supporting and managing networks.
Service provider experience would be advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
Experience required:
- Networking, including VPN’s (IPSEC, PPTP, OpenVPN)
- Experience in IOT
- Cisco managed switches, ASA devices and routers
- Experience of Racoon, OpenVPN servers, and PPTP systems preferred.
- CCNA
- Troubleshooting networking
- Experience of tcpdump / Wireshark packet capture.
- Troubling shooting tcp/udp conversations
- Unix experience
- Scripting experience
- SQL experience

- Working with customers, (e.g.) support, incident, and cases, Delivering customer projects
- Working to tight timescales
- Working as part of a wider technical team
