We are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing organisation looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in a busy Bottling environment. The perfect candidate should have a hands-on approach and provide support when required. You must have a proactive approach as you will be working in a fast paced, innovative and continually growing business.

You must be able to carry out the following tasks in a Bottling environment:
- As part of a maintenance team, provide effective and timely line cover, minimising setup and breakdown losses during production time
- Carry out line changeovers to agreed standards and procedures
- Ensure reactive, planned and preventative maintenance is completed as scheduled
- Complete all recording and reporting procedures accurately and timely
- Ensure personal and work area housekeeping standards are achieved
- Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, repair, monitoring and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Carry out general site mechanical maintenance as required
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors.
- Carry out mandatory compliance checks and maintain records
- Communicate pro-actively with line management to plan and co-ordinate maintenance and repair activities.
Must have the following Key Skills:
- Must possess a recognised trade qualification
- Ideally qualified to HNC level (must be Mechanical)
- Experience on packaging lines would be beneficial, preferably in the bottling industry.
- Exercises individual core technical skills effectively, flexibly and to high personal standards of workmanship
- Knowledge of Maintenance best practice, continuous improvement and root cause analysis would be an advantage.
- Undertakes multi-skills training and to work to a level of multi-skilling in line with competence
This is a dayshift position Monday - Friday and you will be required to work overtime.
