Senior Frontend Engineer
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Financial Cloud, you will be tasked with building and maintaining a suite of Angular applications that form our SaaS platform. You will be involved in making meaningful decisions to application architecture and design, as well as being involved in choosing the right technologies for our platform. Whether you are passionate about implementing beautiful and accessible UI/UX, or handling data using restful APIs there is a role for you at Financial Cloud.
- Hands-on with the planning, development and delivery of SaaS projects using industry best practices.
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

Our stack
- Git, GitHub, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, Redux, Restful APIs, SCSS, OOP.
Required skills
- A proven track record as an engineer with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience.
- Previous commercial experience using a modern single page web application (React, Vue, Angular) in a production environment.
- Experience implementing state management patterns such as Redux.
- Strong proficiency with native JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency with reactive programming concepts, specifically RxJS.
- Previous experience interacting with REST APIs, and an understanding of Networking/HTTP protocols.
- Solid knowledge of semantic HTML, modern UI styling approaches using CSS/SCSS.
- Strong knowledge of modern Frontend tooling and dependency management such as NPM or similar.
- Strong knowledge of version control tooling and repositories (git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Experienced in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and fundamental development principles (DRY, KISS, SOLID).
- Experience working in Agile environments, using ticketing software such as Jira, ClickUp.
- Strong communication, problem solving and presentation skills.
Desirable skills
- Experience mentoring more Junior members of your team.
- Architecting the data flow throughout a modern Frontend.
- Understanding of User Experience and Accessibility concerns on the modern web.
- Exposure to build pipelines and CI/CD tooling.
- Building responsive, engaging web experiences from static designs.
- Writing comprehensive technical documentation for process and implementations.
