A tight-knit, high-performing team operating at the cutting edge of the UK's AI transformation market.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist AI consultancy at the forefront of the UK's AI transformation conversation. As a Junior Presales Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting the commercial team to identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities. You'll work closely with senior consultants and delivery leads to craft compelling proposals, build solution narratives, and help prospective clients understand how AI can solve their real business challenges. This is a client-facing role with strong exposure to the full sales cycle, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in technology consultancy or enterprise sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the presales process by researching prospects, preparing materials, and contributing to proposal and pitch development.
- Assist in producing tailored presentations, solution overviews, and business cases for prospective clients across a range of sectors.
- Work alongside senior consultants to scope client requirements and translate them into clear, commercially relevant narratives.
- Maintain and update CRM records, track pipeline activity, and coordinate follow-up communications with prospects and partners.
- Keep up to date with the company's service offerings, the Microsoft AI ecosystem, and broader market developments to support informed client conversations.
Skills & Experience
- A degree in a technology, business, or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
- A genuine interest in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, or enterprise technology.
- Commercially minded with an ability to understand business problems and frame solutions effectively.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
What We're Looking For
- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine enthusiasm for the AI space — you don't need to be a technical expert, but you should want to understand how these solutions create value.
- A team player who can collaborate across consulting, delivery, and commercial functions.
- Someone ambitious and self-motivated, looking to grow quickly within a high-performing boutique consultancy.
- Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, whether in writing, on calls, or in person.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to or interest in the Microsoft technology stack, including Copilot, Azure, or Power Platform.
- Experience in a client-facing or commercial role, even in a part-time or voluntary capacity.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or business development processes.
- A second language is always a bonus.
