Nine Twenty are delighted to be partnering with a global IoT team in Glasgow in the recruitment of a Graduate Site Reliability Engineer.

The business is going through a period of exceptional growth and is looking for passionate Engineer to work closely with the support and development team.
You will focus on operating and maintain customer facing environments.
You will ensure best practices are followed and deliver highly available, secure and scalable solutions.
Working in an agile environment, working with a collaborative team who are passionate about what they do.
The role:
- Investigate complex customer facing software and networking issues
- Develop and deploy bespoke monitoring solutions.
- Work with Support and Development teams.
- Following an infrastructure as code approach to deploy and automate environment provisioning.
- Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Build and maintain tooling to enable self-service across other functions within the organisation.
- Adhering to security best practices for software, networking and infrastructure.

Technical background required:
- Good understanding on Networking
- Proven experience of working with infrastructure technologies
- Experience with one of the following: Perl, Go, C/C++ or Python
- Database knowledge – MariaBD or MySQL
- Familiar with Unix operation systems
- Git
- Automation and scripting
