Summary:

Our client, a VC-backed AI start-up, is looking for a Frontend Engineer as their first IC Engineer hire. Their product is a medical search engine and is the best performing in the market.

Recent breakthroughs in AI (LLMs) have enabled this information to be accessible in a way that previously was not possible. Using LLMs, the search engine gives direct answers to medical queries based on a variety of trustworthy sources, removing the need for users to scroll through click-bait articles in search of advice.

After building the core engine, establishing product market fit and securing the first customers, they're now in need of a redesign. As the Founding Engineer, this hire will revamp and own the front-end and play a key part in driving revenue by building exciting features. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating responsive web designs, coding frontends, and collaborating with back-end engineers to deliver features.

  • 2+ years of frontend development experience in commercial setting
  • Strong frontend development and web development skills
  • Experience with modern web technologies React, NextJS (must have)

  • Collaborative team player with a passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.
