Nine Twenty are delighted to be representing our client based in Renfrewshire who are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a full-time Flexographic Printer.
Our client is a thriving, growing Manufacturing business with excellent working environments who deliver value for their brands and products.
Reporting directly to the Factory Manager you will be responsible for the safe setup, running and quality of 4 or 6 colour Flexographic Printers, printing onto a range of corrugated sheets.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure safe operation of equipment in line with company standards
- Ensuring machines are make ready including stereo mounting and ink dispensing
- To ensure the smooth running of the machine to standard speeds
- Colour and print quality management, matching to master print sample and use of densitometers and spectrophotometers
- Recording of quality checks
- Troubleshooting printer issues
- Basic maintenance of machinery and stereo washdown
Key requirements:
- 2 years experience in Flexographic printing (onto any material). Alternatively, 5 years experience in other printing methods (e.g. screen, litho)
- Flexibility to work day, back or nightshift.
