Nine Twenty are delighted to be working with a brand new partner - BlackArrow Financial Solutions.  As part of the first phase of an exciting recruitment drive, we are on the look out for a DevOps Engineer. 

We are on the lookout for a talent and passionate DevOps Engineer to the team!

What we need from you;

•Have some familiarity with Github actions

•Have demonstrable experience working with the AWS platform, specifically:

•Deploying applications via automated containerized means - e.g. EKS/ECS/Fargate/Native Kubernetes etc.

•Including best practices around where and how these should be deployed on a cloud environment - e.g. VPC/Route 53/API Gateway etc.

•Secure highly sensitive data hosted on the cloud - using techniques such as key rotation policies/ACLs/IAM/GuardDuty/NatGateway/WAF/Secrets Manager.

•Display comprehensive knowledge of build pipelines for both front and back end applications, experience in automating them on cloud platforms using tools such as CodeDeploy/CodeBuild/Jenkins etc. 

•Show experience in monitoring and managing production applications at scale e.g. CloudWatch/CloudTrail/Splunk etc. 

•Have knowledge and experience designing and building large scale and high availability systems.

•Be comfortable working in a fast paced and highly autonomous environment that can sometimes be subject to tight deadlines.

•Be a willing team player happy to knowledge share and improve the team dev ops capabilities as well as being capable of receiving feedback and acting upon it.

 

Extra Brownie points for:

•Working knowledge of Java & JavaScript (in the NodeJS environment)

•Experience of automating cloud assets (using tools such as Terraform/Ansible/Cloud Formation).

•Experience of micro service architectures
