Our client has built a market leading position in technically challenging projects in low carbon nuclear energy and are growing strongly in fusion, fuel production, reactor new build, reactor operations and decommissioning. The range of projects is vast, from handling gram quantities of tritium in the fusion fuel cycle, waste vitrification, liquid lead cooled Gen IV reactors as well as new nuclear projects for a variety of high level clients.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Process Engineer and you will be responsible for overseeing process engineering projects, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and leading a team of engineers. This role can be based in Glasgow or London area with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Process Optimization, Process Engineering, and Project Management skills
- Experience in ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Leadership and Team Management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in the nuclear or energy industry is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
