Business Applications Sales Manager
Remote or Hybrid | Full Time
Our client is a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner delivering ERP solutions to clients across a range of sectors. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Business Applications Sales Manager to own the sales strategy for the practice, combining new business development with growth of the existing client base.
The role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects across target sectors, working closely with marketing, pre-sales consultants and delivery teams to shape proposals that are both technically credible and commercially compelling. You'll lead the end to end sales process from discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close, converting client operational and finance pain points into compelling commercial proposals for ERP, integration and managed support services.
Alongside new business, you'll manage relationships with the existing client base, running regular account reviews to uncover expansion opportunities across licences, modules and managed services. You'll act as an internal authority on the proposition, keeping pace with product roadmap, licensing changes and competitor positioning, and may support the development of junior sales colleagues as the practice grows.
What they're looking for
Proven experience selling ERP solutions is essential, ideally gained within a Microsoft Partner or MSP environment. You'll need a strong track record of building pipeline, running a consultativesales process and closing new business, along with genuine commercial acumen around margin, pricing and deliverability.
Strong stakeholder management is key, as you'll be working closely with presales, delivery and marketing colleagues to shape and deliver proposals. Confident written and verbal communication, target driven organisation and the ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities without losing quality all matter more than any specific certification.
