We are looking to recruit a Full Time Accounting Manager to join the team at our Glasgow office.

The Role

When clients put their accounts in the hands of us, they’re on their way to forming the foundations of a stronger, more efficient future for their organisation. Prepared by our expert teams and claiming all the available allowances to minimise their tax liability, we give clients practical, commercial advice - focusing on their future, understanding their business and helping them get where they want to be. Our team of professionals rapidly becomes trusted advisers for anything to do with the business, providing stability and growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated person to maximise their career potential within our Accounting team. The role involves actively managing a busy and diverse portfolio ensuring a first class service is provided to our clients. You will take full ownership of your own client portfolio; this will predominately be made up of company accounts although it will incorporate a handful of associated traders and partnerships. You will need to ensure the accounts fully comply with the latest relevant Accounting Standards and it is essential you have solid tax knowledge both in respect of corporate and business tax alongside personal tax. You will manage the workflow and staff development linked to this portfolio. You will also be at the heart of our business development drive to expand this area of our business.

Applicants should be ICAS/ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience of working within a professional accounting practice.

Benefits

In return for your hard work helping us shape our future growth and development, we provide a competitive salary and benefits package which includes;

  • Employer Contribution Pension Scheme including Life Cover and Income Protection
  • Enhanced annual leave which increases with service
  • Flexible Working
  • Health Shield health cash plan
  • Introductory commission Scheme
  • Employee Assistance programme
  • Employee referral scheme

In addition to all the benefits you would expect from an award winning employer, you will be given the utmost encouragement and support to develop your career.
