Nine Twenty's client are a Global Software House who are recruiting for a contract software engineers with strong JavaScript, HTML & SQL skills to be part of their expansion.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Progress design into development, either via self or by utilisation of other team members
    Work with colleagues to achieve delivery of core/bespoke software products in accordance with agreed schedules and procedures
  • To work closely with other developers/analysts on a technical level to progress projects and review and resolve issues
  • To communicate with Development Manager (s)/team leader to resource projects and agree schedules
  • To communicate, an escalate if needed, on issues identified which impact project delivery schedules

Required Experience:

  • Development experience in JavaScript, HTML and SQL.
  • Experience of problem identification and the exercising of sound judgement in their resolution
  • Experience of performing to agreed time scales and to departmental and project standards
  • Experience of confident and effective handling of internal customer relationships at whatever levels evidenced by the achievement of successful collaboration over the achievement of objectives
  • To demonstrate commitment and to co-operate with and be supportive of fellow team members by taking ownership of tasks through to completion, showing initiative in searching for improvement to processes and methods of working
  • To identify problems or issues taking corrective action to resolve them, escalating to senior team members or the departmental manager where necessary
  • To establish close working relationships with internal departments in order to co-ordinate and review activities and priorities, resolve problems
