Job Description:
- Interaction with our client base and our cloud architecture teams to ensure the continuity of service.
- Consulting on storage infrastructure and operational solutions tailored to meet the customer’s needs
- Advising on best practices for improving operational service
- Configuration of NetApp hardware and software products
- High end performance and data gathering to resolve complex technical issues.
- Support of backup and restore, disaster recovery, storage consolidation, data protection, storage performance, etc.,
- Storage Efficiency Optimization activities such as upgrades, performance tuning, and system audit tasks
- Excellent understanding of Backup via Protection Manager and SnapManager products
- Snapmirror/vault schedule and maintenance
- Help drive any issues to resolution with support
- Size and scope growth for performance and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Expert Knowledge of NetApp Core Technologies.
- Expert Knowledge of 7mode Data ONTAP.
- Expert Knowledge of cDOT
- SnapProtect, SnapMirror, SnapVault, NAS-NFS, NAS-CIFS, NAS Services and Clustered Data ONTAP
- Desired qualifications on – VMWare infrastructures, Microsoft, Cisco UCS & EMC
- Networking: Local Area Network technology, specifically Ethernet, IP, DNS, FC switches, Network architectures including hubs, repeaters, bridges, routers, and switches
- Storage: SAN and/or NAS storage, data replication, storage efficiency and manageability software IT application environment: full spectrum of the technical environment: infrastructure, backups and business applications (Oracle, SAP, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, MS SQL, etc.)
- NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA)
