Social Media Executive - Edinburgh/Midlothian

Salary: Circa £25,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm 

Location: Based in central Edinburgh (near Holyrood)

We’re now looking for a creative and motivated Content Creator & Social Media Manager to lead content and organic social media across both brands.

 

The Role

This is a hands-on, content-led role where you’ll be involved in the full process, from idea generation and scripting to filming, editing, and publishing.

 

You’ll manage the day-to-day running of their organic social channels, helping to grow engaged communities and build brand visibility. It’s a fantastic opportunity to take ownership, contribute creatively, and grow your skills within a dynamic, fast-moving team.

 

This role would suit someone with a strong interest in content creation and social media, who’s ready to grow with the role and take on new challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality social content from idea to execution (planning, shooting, editing)
  • Manage and grow organic social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Develop and execute creative content ideas that align with brand goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators
  • Support community management and audience engagement across platforms
  • Stay up to date with trends, tools, and best practices, sharing insights with the team

 

Requirements

  • A strong content creator who can plan, film, and edit social-first video content
  • A good understanding of what makes content perform on TikTok, Meta and YouTube
  • Solid grasp of effective storytelling and how to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Organised and able to manage priorities across two distinct but exciting brands
  • Confident communicator, both within the team and externally
  • Creative, self-motivated, and keen to take ownership of projects
