Nine Twenty are delighted to be assisting in the recruitment of a Graduate/Junior Software Engineer for their global technology client based on the outskirts of Glasgow.
The Graduate/Junior will be involved in the design, development, and the implementations of web based applications. You will be developing new product features and handle product support request.
To apply for this position you must have the following experience;
A degree or post graduate qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering at 2:1 or above or at least 1 years commercial experience within a Software Development team.
- Object oriented analysis, algorithm design and J2EE design patterns
- Java 2 Platform technologies and web applications servers
- Understanding of object oriented analysis, algorithm design and J2EE design patterns
- J2EE, EJBs, AJAX, SQL Server (fluent with SQL programming, Stored Procedures), JSP or Servlets, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Hibernate, Spring, C#;
- Understanding of both web client side and server side development
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Awareness of benchmarking and optimization
- Experience of version control systems e.g. Subversion, CVS, Git
