Edinburgh, Leith – Remote (with regular meetups) or Hybrid

A new and exciting role has opened up in Leith for a creative agency with an impressive list of clients in the drinks industry. With established success down south, collaborating with major names in the global spirits industry, the agency is expanding its footprint in Scotland by opening a new office. This position provides a unique opportunity to be part of something special within this female-led agency.

 

The Role:

This role is for an experienced Account Manager to join a strategically driven creative agency that specializes in Drinks brands. It's a key position involving the management and delivery of creative projects globally. Responsibilities extend beyond project management, offering a unique opportunity within a close-knit team. The focus is on premium drinks and spirits brands, with tasks ranging from delivering communication materials like activation campaigns, brand positioning, packaging, and key visuals. Reporting to the Account Director, this role leads day-to-day operations for a crucial global drinks account.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle new briefs, generate cost estimates, and create project timing plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise in agency processes and manage end-to-end campaigns.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their project requirements are met.
  • Develop onboarding documents summarizing client briefs and deliverables for new projects.
  • Stay well-informed on account details, key meetings, and project requirements.
  • Apply strategic and creative thinking in line with briefs and available agency resources.
  • Build trust and confidence with clients through consistent, creative, and diligent delivery.
  • Achieve commercial targets through client growth and proactive business development.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including cost estimates, client approvals, invoicing, and profitability tracking.
  • Coordinate resource scheduling with creative and strategy teams, contribute to internal reporting, and actively support agency marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in account management within creative agencies.
  • Holds a degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates a discerning eye for design, a creative mindset, and effective organizational skills with a strong work ethic.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exhibits financial acumen.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Pays strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in managing global campaigns is a valuable asset.
