Looking for a new challenge? An established US agency is expanding its European team and seeking an Account Director to join its ranks and be a key player in their expansion.

This global agency operates in the US, UK, Asia, and beyond, specializing in Advertising and Marketing. Their expertise lies in helping Brands create innovative Channel Marketing and Merchandising Strategies, using Data and Analytics to boost revenue for targeted retailers.

The Role

You're a results-driven leader focused on client growth, revenue maximization, and market strategy. You lead a team of Account Managers, mainly serving New to Market to Mid-Tier clients. Your role involves strategic client communication, budget management, and media planning. You collaborate with Business Development for smooth onboarding and support clients with market expertise.

As a passionate team builder, you challenge and mentor your team, maintain clear communication, and drive performance. Your agile leadership allows quick decision-making, and you learn from both successes and failures. You're dedicated to exceeding goals, putting clients first with empathy, emotional intelligence, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Formulating and crafting strategies based on robust data, insights into customer behaviour, and metrics to enhance client sales and increase brand recognition.
  • Emphasizing revenue growth, service sales, and strengthening client relationships with the agency.
  • Attracting, training, leading, and nurturing a dynamic team to support clients in achieving and surpassing their performance objectives.
  • Regularly engaging with clients through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to evaluate campaign performance and strategy.
  • Crafting media plans, managing budgets, overseeing campaigns, and ensuring high-quality execution across all aspects.
  • Promoting communication and collaboration with other key stakeholders within Channel Bakers across different departments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in the field of Digital Marketing or Advertising in a Client Services role, particularly in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
  • Essential experience in paid media Advertising or Amazon Advertising, and familiarity with a Demand Side Platform (DSP) is a notable advantage.
  • A degree in disciplines such as Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications is preferred, or equivalent practical experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams and nurturing the growth of talented individuals.
  • Strong proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative analysis; you are comfortable working with numbers.
  • Proficient in the use of standard office software, including MS Office. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • Proven expertise in generating additional revenue, establishing new relationships, and strengthening existing ones.
  • A demonstrated track record of actively managing your own professional and personal development.
  • Proficiency in at least 2 market-relevant languages is a big bonus.
