Nine Twenty are delighted to be working with a hugely successful manufacturing organisation who currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Warehouse Leader  in a dynamic environment based on the Isle of Skye.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the team with a focus on monitoring and optimizing the packaging, stacking, and loading of bagged goods, while supporting the discharge of raw materials.
  • Hands-on involvement in loading vessels and packaging as part of the standard routine.
  • Development and training of the Warehouse team.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of paperwork for deliveries and loadings by the team.
  • Organizing the warehouse, ensuring up-to-date stock management systems.
  • Collaborating with the planning department on the daily work schedule and communicating the shift plan to the team.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of stocktakes.
  • Assisting in the development of Risk Assessments and SOPs for departmental operations.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Company Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining work areas to high standards, following plant hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Participation in LEAN / 5s activities to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Routine maintenance/cleaning of equipment.
  • Ensuring robust delivery of QA procedures and full traceability at key process stages and of finished feed products, including testing, recording, and analysis of test results against product specification parameters.
  • Providing support to other operational departments when required.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Substantial process and industrial experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated capacity to successfully work shift routines.
  • Well-developed IT skills.
  • Experience with HSE systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Possession of a driving license. No license? We can assist with the cost of lessons.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
