Title: UX Researcher

Location: East Kilbride Office (Hybrid or Remote working model depending on preference)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus

Contract: Full time, permanent

 

Nine Twenty are proud to be partnering with the UK’s industry leader in the development of insolvency software solutions. To support their growth plans and strategic initiatives, we are seeking an experienced UX professional to join the passionate Product team.

Our client is a well-established company with a rich history spanning over four decades. Currently undergoing a significant transformation, with the introduction of a revolutionary cloud platform that has disrupted the insolvency market. The company places huge importance on their UX/UI team, investing in the department as a vital resource for their customers experience.

The Role

The UX Researcher role would see you joining at a ground breaking transition period for the company. Your role will provide invaluable insights into the needs, behaviors, and emotions of customers and will inform product strategy and design.

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilising both quantitative and qualitative methods for unbiased data.
  • Applying methodology to guide product design decisions.
  • Gather insights, build personas, understand goals and behaviours.
  • Engage users and stakeholders confidently during workshops or other research procedures.
  • Compose surveys, conduct interviews and testing, gathering user feedback effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, working with UX & UI designers, developers, product managers, and clients.
  • Assisting in other areas of the UX process where necessary.

 

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience within a UX role with particular focus on the research element of projects.
  • A strong understanding of design thinking, with the ability to apply methodology to design decisions.
  • Experience conducting user research through workshops, one-to-one interviews and other methods.
  • Experience gathering feedback through surveys, interviews and testing.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience working within the financial sector is a bonus.
  • Experience working with the following tools is also a bonus: Figma, Miro, Balsamiq, Adobe.
