Delivery Manager
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join a growing and dynamic delivery team, responsible for managing client projects and retained services. This role is key to ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and client stakeholders.
You will play a central role in coordinating delivery across multiple projects, supporting Agile ways of working, and ensuring teams are set up for success from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple client projects and retained services
- Oversee timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure successful outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to define requirements and delivery approaches
- Produce and manage project documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and project plans
- Ensure effective use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence, maintaining accurate boards and reporting
- Support Agile delivery, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Monitor progress against plans, identifying risks and issues and taking appropriate action
- Lead on scoping, cost estimation, and capacity planning
- Communicate project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery practices
- Experience managing client-facing projects and working with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and reporting tools like eazyBI
- Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify and manage risks and ensure successful project delivery
