Delivery Manager

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

 

About the Role

We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join a growing and dynamic delivery team, responsible for managing client projects and retained services. This role is key to ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and client stakeholders.

You will play a central role in coordinating delivery across multiple projects, supporting Agile ways of working, and ensuring teams are set up for success from the outset.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of multiple client projects and retained services
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to define requirements and delivery approaches
  • Produce and manage project documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and project plans
  • Ensure effective use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence, maintaining accurate boards and reporting
  • Support Agile delivery, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Monitor progress against plans, identifying risks and issues and taking appropriate action
  • Lead on scoping, cost estimation, and capacity planning
  • Communicate project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery practices
  • Experience managing client-facing projects and working with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and reporting tools like eazyBI
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to identify and manage risks and ensure successful project delivery

 

What’s on Offer

Salary: £35,000–£45,000

Hybrid working: 3 days in the Glasgow office, 2 days remote
