Your Role
We're seeking a committed Senior Cloud Engineer to join our accomplished Cloud team, responsible for a comprehensive suite of services including pre-sales, solutions architecture, cloud migration, installation, configuration, and ongoing third-line support.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
- Managing intricate project tasks, incidents, and issues, while mentoring cloud engineers to enhance team capabilities.
- Leading the implementation of secure and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and security solutions, designing effective cloud solutions based on client needs.
- Skillfully designing substantial segments of cloud infrastructure solutions under the guidance of a Principal Cloud Engineer, ensuring seamless integration.
- Investigating and resolving technical issues encountered during delivery or support, escalating when necessary.
- Driving continual enhancement in build processes and documentation, proactively suggesting improvements for optimal customer satisfaction.
- Participating in an on-call rotation, occasional travel to client sites, and resolving escalated third-line support tickets from the Service Delivery Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Desired Skills and Experience
We seek a dedicated team player with expertise in:
- Configuring and supporting networking technologies for hybrid on-premises and cloud connectivity.
- Configuring and supporting both cloud-native and hybrid on-premises identities.
- Delivering and supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Customer migrations to Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud management, automation, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services, and/or Citrix is advantageous.
- Exposure in the Professional Services industry is beneficial.
- Existing or working towards Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certification is advantageous.
