Our client is looking for someone to Lead the Operational Excellence and Quality Strategy for the site. Including leadership of the quality and Manufacturing Engineering team. This role involves responsibility for developing and deploying Our Operational & Quality Excellence Programme. This will involve creation and deployment of manufacturing engineering function (sustain and continuous improvement) for new and legacy products. In addition you will have overarching responsibility for the product & QMS quality standards, compliance, warranty and aftercare.
Responsibilities
- Develop org design & Operational excellence programme for & revised roles & responsibilities for PD ME, Manufacturing ME & CI ME
- Develop an org design and programme for Quality, Assurance & QMS
- Develop robust scorecard measures & reporting for the quality & ME department
- Lead Operational Excellence programme to drive a zero defect culture.
- Lead Operational Excellence program to improve the flow of material and products through manufacturing.
- Develop warranty & aftercare process across Engineering quality and supply chain (& support deployment)

- Professional change Leader with extensive background Operational excellence & quality development, deployment, tools & systems in addition to specific manufacturing engineering experience
- A proven track record in driving measurable product and supplier quality improvement
- Experience in developing and deploying Quality improvement programmes (QMS, product quality, assurance, aftercare)
- Passionate about change, able to identify and prioritise projects that will deliver real and measurable benefit
- Experience of implementing, managing and developing Quality Management Systems, e.g. ISO9001
