Position: Project Engineer

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing to be supporting our manufacturing client into their Process Plant based in Edinburgh - they are looking for experienced Project Engineer focused on process improvement. In this role, you will lead transformative projects across the company, contributing to our ongoing investment strategy and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards while overseeing on-site activities.
- Manage the lifecycle of CAPEX projects, from design to commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statement reviews, and root cause analysis as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all project stages.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field.
- Proven experience in project engineering/management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with project lifecycle models and scheduling tools.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards (COMAH, H&S, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
