3 Shift Rotation:

Early: Mon – Thu (6am to 2pm); Friday (6am to 1.10pm)

Back: Mon – Thu (2pm to 10pm); Friday (1.10pm to 6pm)

Night: Sun (9.50pm to 6am); Mon – Thu (10pm to 6am)

 

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a global leader in the development and production of a variety of products across multiple sectors, including but not limited to: electronics, automotive and industrial. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day manufacturing operations within a section of the site.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) initiatives to strengthen safe working practices and support a zero-incident culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with SHE standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a proactive safety mindset through visible leadership and employee engagement.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve output targets while maintaining optimal quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout all manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Shop Order execution and maintain full accuracy and control within IFS (or equivalent ERP system).
  • Monitor process compliance and evaluate performance using defined metrics (KPIs).
  • Lead, motivate and develop multi-skilled production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate team performance, operational priorities and action plans clearly across all levels of the production organisation.
  • Provide timely reporting and escalate operational issues to relevant departments to ensure swift resolution.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours, setting high standards aligned with company values.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Support and contribute to Lean, CI or operational excellence activities, ensuring improvements are sustained and measurable.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all required administration, documentation and data entry across business systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and audit requirements.
  • Perform additional duties flexibly as required to support operational needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of injection moulding production (IMD), tooling, screen printing, and associated manufacturing technologies would be highly beneficial.
  • Proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to develop people, elevate team performance, and build a strong, positive workplace culture.
  • Effective decision-making skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and respond decisively using available data and insight.
  • A demonstrated ability to drive substantial improvements in manufacturing output and organisational efficiency through continuous improvement methods such as 5S, enabling ongoing performance growth.
  • An IOSH qualification, or equivalent, supported by hands-on experience overseeing health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
