Painter
Location: Dumbarton | Department: Paint Shop
We’re looking for a skilled Painter to join our Paint Shop team in Dumbarton on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in preparing, spray painting, masking, and finishing components to the highest standards.
What you’ll do:

Clean, prepare, mask, spray paint, and finish components to specification.

Operate spray painting and shot blasting equipment safely and effectively.

Read and interpret paint data sheets accurately.

Maintain tools, machinery, and a high standard of housekeeping.

Work both independently and as part of a team, supporting wider business needs.
What we’re looking for:

Recognised apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification.

Operational knowledge of airless spray painting.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong safety focus, communication skills, and a proactive approach.

Ability to work flexibly, unsupervised, and to company policies and standards.
