Title: New Business Sales Executive (Managed IT Services)

Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Glasgow Office (flexible with remote working)

Salary: £50,000 base salary + £50,000 OTE

 

We are proud to be partnering with a well-established Glasgow-based Microsoft solutions partner, looking for an experienced New Business Sales professional to join their Managed IT Services business unit to make a real impact.

Our client is a seasoned IT solutions provider, specialising in enhancing clients' businesses through the implementation of Modern Workplace solutions, application development, analytics, and the delivery of Cloud & Managed IT services.

 

The Role

Established over 20 years ago, our client is a prestigious Microsoft Solutions Partner. They are looking to fuel further growth through the creation of a New Business Sales Executive role. This is a brand-new role within the Managed IT and Analytics business unit. You’d be joining the business at an exciting time, heading up the creation and execution of lead generation strategies.

The role comes with a competitive commission structure, flexible working and the opportunity to promote a well-established Managed IT and Cloud services provider that’s continuing to make it’s mark in the industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively explore new sales opportunities through thorough market research, strategic networking, and effective outbound strategies.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients, demonstrating a keen understanding of their unique needs.
  • Organise and conduct meetings with prospects to gain insightful insights into their requirements and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with our team of solution experts to craft compelling and tailored solutions for clients.
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations and persuasive proposals to prospects, showcasing the value of our services.
  • Negotiate and close deals, consistently achieving and surpassing assigned sales targets.
  • Provide regular and comprehensive feedback to management on sales activities, progress, and areas for optimisation.
  • Foster and sustain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or repeat business within 18 months of initial engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitor landscapes to maintain a proactive and informed sales approach.

 

Requirements

  • 6-8 years’ experience in sales roles within the IT services sector.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of proficiency in identifying and cultivating new business relationships with prospective clients.
  • Possess a proven track record of recognising and capitalising on opportunities within new business ventures.
  • Showcase expertise in building and fostering relationships at senior decision-making levels within organisations.
  • Display a successful history of closing opportunities for new business ventures.
  • Prove proficiency in crafting and delivering persuasive proposals to potential clients.
  • Be well-versed and experienced in using CRM tools such as HubSpot or equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Dynamics 365 or similar systems.
  • Be skilled in utilizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator or equivalent platforms.
