Subject Matter Expert – Insolvency
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £40,000 per annum + benefits
About the Role
A market leader in insolvency software is undergoing a major transformation with the launch of a next-generation SaaS platform. As part of this development, they are looking to hire experienced insolvency professionals to join their expanding product team as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with hands-on IPS (Insolvency Practitioner Software) experience who are looking to transition into a client-facing, product-focused role supporting training, implementation, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to clients by resolving queries across a suite of insolvency products
- Develop a thorough understanding of the new SaaS platform and its functionalities
- Guide clients through onboarding and system migration
- Act as a central contact for client transition and implementation projects
- Create digital training materials using platforms such as WalkMe, including written guides, videos, and other documentation
- Analyse and map client workflows to support accurate product adoption
- Collaborate with internal teams to test new features and provide feedback
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of both corporate and personal insolvency processes
- Practical experience using IPS or similar insolvency software
- Familiarity with IPS SQL (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to meet project deadlines
- Confident in delivering virtual and in-person training
- Competency in Microsoft Office tools
