Maintenance Planning Improvement Coordinator - Glasgow

Maintenance Improvement Coordinator

Glasgow or Stirling base

Permanent

Are you an organised, analytical and solutions-driven Maintenance professional with a knack for planning, reporting and cross-functional collaboration?

We’re supporting a leading name in the drinks industry to find a Maintenance Improvement Coordinator to join their high-performing team. This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of asset care planning, maintenance scheduling and KPI reporting across multiple functions.

You’ll be the critical link between engineering, stores, and supply chain - making sure plans are realistic, achievable and aligned with production priorities. If you enjoy making sense of data, keeping teams accountable, and helping things run like clockwork, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the planning and scheduling of maintenance activity across bottling and distillation

  • Supporting asset care activities at both Tier 1 & Tier 2 level

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams on dried goods, cased goods and stores to align resources

  • Producing daily and weekly maintenance KPIs, identifying trends and escalating where required

  • Challenging engineers constructively to meet deadlines and drive accountability

  • Managing stock and procurement of engineering materials and critical spares

  • Working with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders

  • Supporting store audits and ensuring COSHH, 5S and service records are maintained

  • Supporting and driving CI initiatives and improvement projects across the maintenance function

  • Acting as a key point of contact for the maintenance team and wider site teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone calm under pressure and able to juggle moving parts across multiple priorities

  • A background in maintenance planning or improvement coordination (ideally within manufacturing or engineering environments)

  • Comfortable working with Excel, modern reporting tools and data systems

  • Strong communicator who can build relationships and challenge constructively

  • Ideally familiar with CMMS systems

  • A self-starter who’s proactive, solution-focused and driven to improve processes

This is a great role for someone who wants variety, visibility, and the opportunity to genuinely make a difference in how a maintenance function runs.
