Maintenance Engineer
Location: Elgin and Speyside area

We have new roles upcoming in the Elgin and Speyside area and we are seeking talented Maintenance Engineers to join our clients team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to keep production running smoothly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to prevent equipment failures and breakdowns.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as required to support production requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of some or all of - PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other automated systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
